IPL 2025: Ishan Kishan’s Blistering Century Powers SRH to Victory
In a thrilling encounter, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 44 runs in the second match of IPL 2025. The win was largely thanks to Ishan Kishan’s incredible unbeaten century.
Kishan’s explosive innings of 106 off 47 balls, including 11 fours and 6 sixes, left the RR bowlers reeling. His knock was ably supported by Travis Head (67 off 31), Heinrich Klaasen (32 off 14), Nitish Reddy (30 off 15), and Abhishek Sharma (24 off 11), as SRH posted a massive 286/6.
In response, RR’s Sanju Samson (66 off 37) and Dhruv Jurel (70 off 35) stitched together a crucial 111-run partnership. However, their efforts were ultimately in vain, as RR finished at 242/6.
Kishan’s century was the highlight of the match, marking his first IPL ton and the third-fastest for SRH in IPL history.
